Bacterid

Bacterid is a broad-spectrum injectable antibiotic with Enrofloxacin as its active ingredient. It is effective against aerobes like staphylococcus, bacilli and cocci that are known to infest most farm animals like swines and gamefowls.

Indication

For the treatment of bacterial and mycoplasmal pneumonia in swine, gamefowls, and ruminants; colibacillosis and enteritis; skin and soft tissue infections.

Contraindication

Not to be given to animals producing milk for human consumption and in young animals during rapid period of growth.

Dosage and Administration

1. Swine – Inject 1mL per 20 kg body weight for 3 days by deep IM
2. Poultry and Gamefowls – Inject 0.2 mL per head for 3 days by deep IM
3. Cattle – Inject 1 mL per 20 kg body weight for 5 days by deep IM

Withdrawal Period

Swine: 10 days
Cattle: 14 Days
